Security in MOOVIA

Here in MOOVIA we provide you the most secure environment so that you and your team can focus on your core business, free of worries.

We protect your information

All your information in the MOOVIA network is protected by a redundant high technology security system, continually updated to give you peace of mind - your data is safe and secure in MOOVIA.

The security of your private network information is our top priority. When you create a private network  we generate a private virtual environment for all of the data related to that specific private network.  Only people that you invite to that private network will have access to that environment.

Your private network data is confidential. Non private network members won't even know of the private network's existence.

You will notice that when you login to your profile, you will only see the private network that you are involved in. This is true for all the thousands of members already utilizing MOOVIA.

We also protect you and your information from being published to other networks. Read our Privacy Statement for more details.

Encrypted Data (SSL Certificates)

After you login to MOOVIA, all the information you enter or access is coded with the latest encryption technology available.
We use digital security certificates (SSL) to protect the data traveling from your computer to our servers. Encrypted with 256 bit access keys, your information is not exposed, so it can be safely send to and retrieved from our network.
Every time you login, a behind the scenes process of authentication (called the SSL “handshake”) takes place between you and MOOVIA, providing you an uninterrupted safe experience.
SSL Certificates not only confirm MOOVIA identity to you, but also encrypt information sent and received between us.

Duplicated Daily Backups

All the information in the MOOVIA network is daily backed up, and because we are backup fanatics, we do it twice.
The first backup takes place automatically, once a day, and copies our entire system and data in a so called "image". We keep that image safe and secured.
The second backup is also automatically triggered once a day, and saves all the information and files from MOOVIA network to another place, giving us a redundant backup system, and a peace of mind to you.

Servers on Top Level Security

We've selected RACKSPACE as our infrastructure contractor due to its powerful security and high quality services, well known around the globe.
RACKSPACE is the world leader in application hosting, servicing nearly half of the FORTUNE 100 Companies.
Physical Security
  • Keycard protocols, biometric scanning protocols and round-the-clock interior and exterior surveillance monitor access to every one of the data centers.
  • Only authorized data center personnel are granted access credentials to the data centers. No one else can enter the production area of the datacenter without prior clearance and an appropriate escort.
  • Every data center employee undergoes multiple and thorough background security checks before they're hired.

Precision Environment
  • Every data center's HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) system is N+1 redundant. This ensures that a duplicate system immediately comes online should there be an HVAC system failure.
  • Every 90 seconds, all the air in the data centers are circulated and filtered to remove dust and contaminants.
  • Advanced fire suppression systems are designed to stop fires from spreading in the unlikely event one should occur.

Conditioned Power
  • Should a total utility power outage ever occur, all of the data centers' power systems are designed to run uninterrupted, with every server receiving conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power.
  • The UPS power subsystem is N+1 redundant, with instantaneous failover if the primary UPS fails.
  • If an extended utility power outage occurs, routinely tested, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely.

Core Routing Equipment
  • Only fully redundant, enterprise-class routing equipment is used in the data centers.
  • Fiber carriers enter the data centers at disparate points to guard against service failure.

Network Technicians
  • All the networking and security teams working in the data centers are certified. And they are also thoroughly experienced in managing and monitoring enterprise level networks.
  • Certified Network Technicians are trained to the highest industry standards.
